We are open for Bed and breakfast, and also self catering in the beautiful Appennine mountains of Italy, all year round, Spring, Summer, Autumn,Winter. It is beautiful here throughout the seasons.

Our home is the first house in the small hamlet of Bedogno, it overlooks fields and vineyards and has beautiful views of hills and mountains all around. Bedogno itself is very picturesque with red tiled rooves, cranky chimneys, and weathered stone and wood. The local town of Villa Minozzo, also very pretty, is within walking distance. Here, there are shops, banks, Post Office, several restaurants, cafes and bars, supermarket, open air swimming pool and sports facilities. So, we have the tranquility of the tiny village, yet the services of the town.

A quick look at the rooms

We have 2 self catering apartments each with two very spacious double or twin bedrooms, living/dining room, bathroom kitchen and balcony.

B&B price is €50/ £45 per night per room

We are friendly welcoming hosts and you are welcome also to enjoy the use of the garden, the jaccuzzi, the sun deck, the barbeque and other aspects of our home at no extra cost. This is the house of an artist so you will find many, many original works of art; paintings, murals and sculpture.

We also provide lunches or evening meals (typical of the region) at your request.

Lunch €10: Evening meal - 4 courses (including wine) €20, or 2 course meal (including wine) €15

We have 2 apartments available for B&B or self catering.

Each self catering apartment has 2 spacious (double or twin) bedrooms, and each bedroom shares a bathroom, kitchen, lounge and south facing balcony with one other.

Breakfast is continental style, which suits all guests whether they are early risers or like to have a long lie. Take your own time and enjoy your

breakfast at liesure, perhaps on the south facing balcony of your apartment where the sun rises above the beautiful mountains.

We have a room on the ground floor which may suit those who have difficulty with stairs.

This is a house of an artist so you will find hundreds of original works of art throughout the house and garden.

Self Catering

You can have the use of a whole apartment (2 bedrooms, kitchen, shower-room, lounge/dining room and balcony) for £450 per week.

We can put an additional bed in the twin rooms so you can sleep 5 people. The house has many life size copies of classical masterpieces for you to live with and enjoy. Here are some below.

The area

The house is in the Tuscan Emilia National Park so the whole area is unspoilt and very beautiful. The dominant feature is the Bismantova Rock which you can climb to the top in under an hour for spectacular views.

But there are wonderful views all year round.

We can watch the deer in the field outside, eagles soaring above, irridescent fireflies in June and butterflies all summer long. It's a nature lovers' paradise.

It's within walking distance of many trails, fields of wild flowers, agricultural land, orchards, grape vines, a river to walk alongside (or go for a cooling dip!), and the lovely hamlet itself. There are also the castles of Matilda to explore in summer and the local ski slopes and trails in the winter.
